Covid Update

have had to make calls regarding the need for your child to self isolate. I have had regular meetings with
Public Health Walsall and
As you may be aware, schools are required to have a remote learning plan in place so that any child who
cannot attend school because of COVID-19 does not miss out on their learning. This letter explains our plans
for remote learning for students who have to self-isolate, or where local or national restrictions mean that
students need to stay at home.
Over the past days there have been confirmed cases of COVID-19 within Shire Oak Academy. Upon
investigation and undertaking an assessment of risk with Walsall Public Health,
We have been advised by Public Health England that there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19
within our staff team.
